Information on next APPO Medical and Surgical Mission June 22-29, 2025
Location: Santa Maria Isabela and Aurora Baler, Quezon
We are excited to announce that we are looking for medical and non-medical volunteers to the Philippines for our next medical/surgical mission to the Philippines June 2025.
The dates are as follows:
June 22-27, 2025 (Sunday-Friday) in Santa Maria Isabela, Philippines
June 28-29, 2025 (Saturday-Sunday) Baler, Aurora, Philippines.
We will be working with local surgeons and physicians to provide free medical care: major (including laparoscopy) and minor surgeries , medical care in Santa Maria. For the shorter 2 day mission to Baler, we will provide minor surgeries, medical care.
We will also support a dental clinic which will run during that week.
We also plan on visiting and donating school supplies to a local orphanage and support other non medical volunteer activities.
Please get back to me right away if you’re interested in attending. APPO will provide land transportation from Manila, Philippines (via bus Saturday June 21, 2025-about a 13 hour bus ride) . If attending the second mission, further bus transportation will be provided from Santa Maria to Baler, Aurora and then from Aurora to Manila on June 29, 2025. Air travel to Santa Maria, Isabela can be arranged by the volunteer and APPO will provide transfer from the airport to the medical mission housing. Housing and meals will be provided by our city sponsors.
Flight costs to the Philippines will be covered by the volunteer. We will arrange and cover housing, transportation to and from Manila (only the land transportation) as long as you are traveling with the group and to the second location. Meals will also be provided.
